Based on some searching I found that if you lot delete all files in "com.android.providers.media\albumthumbs" that the phone should end forcing its art on specific albums. Nevertheless afterwards doing and then you lot besides have to change the binder to read-only.
I did this on an old s5 neo and it worked.
However on my current s9 I don't have the option to delete files in this folder. And so, I found the folder by connecting my phone to my pc and deleted all the files... simply I can't change the permission of the folder either on my phone or pc to read-only, so the anthology art is nevertheless non irresolute.
Tried a bunch of unlike apps, and in the apps the art is ok, but in the actual music player it's not.
Is there any work effectually for this? Or any other style to force the album art to change? Any manner to change the folder to read-only?
Thanks!

Hither is one of the files. I just opened it in mp3tag, deleted the album art, added a high quality pic. Yet when I uploaded to my phone it notwithstanding shows some low quality crap as album fine art.

I've taken a look and the file appears to be OK. Did y'all happen to bank check if the previously embedded film was depression quality? Because if it was you lot might just demand to clear albumthumbs over again, then recopy over the anthology with the loftier quality art embedded in each file (yous might also just be able to put it as folder.jpg in the same folder with no embeds on any files, not certain if that works) and let the cache regenerate.
If that doesn't work then I have a couple more questions - how depression quality are you lot talking (a screenshot would be helpful), and what music player are you lot using? Considering testing the file in Samsung Music looks fine to me. Y'all could also accept a look at another music player with an option to ignore mediastore'south cached covers (which are normally compressed more) and reads the art directly from the file. There are a bunch available that tin do this like Retro, Shuttle, Phonograph, Poweramp, and probably tons more.
I've attached screenshots of what information technology looks similar for me on Retro (with mediastore disabled) and Samsung Music.

Ya mine doesn't wait like that unfortunately. Here's a motion picture of how mine looks on Samsung music player. Too here'southward the pic I'm trying to use.

Don't know what the f is upwards with this phone lol.I'chiliad non certain what you lot mean with the folder.jpg. I'chiliad supposed to name the album art file folder.jpg?
Ya mine doesn't await like that unfortunately. Here's a pic of how mine looks on Samsung music player. Likewise here's the moving picture I'm trying to utilise.
Welp, my last idea autonomously from trying a different music role player is to clear the data of Samsung Music. If that doesn't work, I probably tin can't assistance sorry.
Past the binder.jpg affair I mean instead of embedding the file in every MP3 on an album, which takes up more than infinite (say your album encompass is 700 kilobytes across ten songs, that's 7 megabytes), y'all can just put it in the same folder as the files (like the fastened image). It could also have priority depending on the app, not sure how Samsung Music handles it.

Open up Settings, then go to Apps, find and tap on Samsung Music, then tap Storage, and Clear data. And you can practice it on either.

Open Settings, so go to Apps, detect and tap on Samsung Music, then tap Storage, and Clear information. And y'all can do information technology on either.
Oh human thank you so much... it finally worked. In that location are even so a couple albums which it didn't work for just information technology worked for most. Maybe immigration albumthumbs again will work.
Also there's another problem, lol. The mini album art at the bottom of the screen shows up as the one-time 1 instead of the new ane. I'chiliad gonna endeavour clearing albumthumbs and samsung music once again and hopefully that fixes it.

Hey so I (or better you) figured it out finally. If y'all alter the album fine art right before yous articulate samsung music and then afterward immigration it will prove upwards with the correct anthology fine art in all places. Some of the older ones I changed didn't show upwardly, merely if I inverse them right before immigration they all showed up perfectly.
Glad to hear you got it working!
